The process to make the scent was an experience. I loved the scent station and smelling all the oils to decide on the rollerball scent you want created. The associates were extremely helpful and explained the process. The only issue I have is that the scent did not last long within an hour the scent was gone. Other than that, it was a lot of fun.

You've highlighted a key aspect of custom fragrance: the longevity of a scent depends heavily on the oils you chose. For example, Top Notes, like bright citruses or our popular Fig No. 1, are light, volatile oils. They smell amazing right away but fade quickly. For a longer-lasting scent, it's crucial to select Middle Notes and particularly Base Notes (like woods, musks, or deep vanillas). These oils are the 'anchors' that hold the scent on your skin for hours. When creating a scent, building a formula with a balanced structure of Top, Middle, and Base notes will always offer the best staying power.
