We love being part of this community, and we’ve built our space to feel like a neighborhood gem where science meets nature.
2. Walk-Ins Are Always Welcome for the DIY Scent Bar
If you aren't ready for a full perfume consultation but want to play with scents, our DIY Scent Bar is the perfect spot. You can walk in anytime we’re open and customize a variety of bath and body products. This is a great way to dip your toes into custom fragrance. You can choose a base like our liquid castile wash, a bath soak, a body oil, or a scrub, and then blend in your favorite scents right there on the spot. It’s quick, it’s fun, and you walk out with a product that smells exactly how you want it to.
3. Deep Dives Require an Appointment
While the DIY bar is great for quick custom products, our signature Custom Perfume Design is a more involved process. To give you the attention you deserve, we require 1-hour appointments for specific perfume blends. During this hour, you’ll work with our experts to explore top, middle, and base notes. We guide you through the "why" behind different scent combinations so you can build a balanced, sophisticated fragrance that evolves beautifully on your skin. 4. Natural Ingredients Only, No Exceptions
The "clean beauty" world can be confusing, but we keep it simple. We use natural ingredients that are easy to understand. You won't find synthetic phthalates or mystery "fragrance" labels that hide hundreds of chemicals. Our scents come from the earth, botanicals, resins, and essential oils. One question we get a lot is: "Can I make a body wash that smells exactly like my custom perfume?" The answer is: sort of! To keep our formulations stable and skin-safe, we scent our complementary products (like washes and oils) using a key note from your custom perfume blend, rather than the exact, complex perfume formula itself. This allows you to layer your scents without overwhelming your senses. It creates a beautiful "scent story" where your body wash and oil support your perfume rather than competing with it.
7. Custom-Scent Our Liquid Castile Soap (Made with Organic Olive Oil Only)
If you love the idea of your everyday essentials smelling like you, don’t skip the custom-scenting options at our DIY Scent Bar. One of our favorites to personalize is our liquid castile soap, because it’s a simple, skin-friendly base that lets your chosen scent shine.
Our liquid castile soap is made using organic olive oil only for maximum moisture and we custom scent it using a key note from your custom perfume blend—so it layers beautifully without trying to be an exact copy of the full perfume formula.
8. We Are Committed to Sustainability
Creating a custom perfume making experience in New Jersey means we have a responsibility to our local environment and the planet. We use eco-friendly packaging whenever possible, think glass bottles that you can reuse or recycle. We also vet our suppliers to ensure that the botanical ingredients we use are grown and harvested sustainably.
